Pictures from six different photographers were taken over three days

Eric Hamilton collected pictures from the other photographers on the second Marijuana Garden Clean Up. On almost all the of the pictures, if you click in the bottom right hand corner, a full size version of the picture will be obtained. (The exceptions are those from Barbara that are shown in full size.)

Movies of picking up trash in the field

My little still camera has a Movie mode that records up to 20 seconds of motion with sound. The normal pickup for a single net took less than one minute, for a double net it took about a minute and a half. I don't know how to concatenate these together, so you will have to just remember what was happening and go to the next 20 seconds, etc. These movies were made April 10, 2005.

There are no viruses or any other strange stuff with these pictures. Ignore warnings from MicroSoft about them being active and dangerous.

  1. Here is a normal single net pick up. Unfortunately I forgot and had the camera rotated 90° (In still pictures the picture may be rotated so that up is up, instead of up is left like it is here.)

    The down draft from the helicopter is so strong that I had trouble holding the camera steady. You should also note someone's jacket getting blown around in the down draft.

Area Maps

When viewing these two maps remember that the "little squares" are about one mile on a side. These maps were scanned in from the USFS map of the Sierra National Forest, edition of 1991. If the first map is clicked on in the lower right hand corner, a larger version will come up. With the second map it already is shown in full size.
