Our second little friend discovered as we
rolled a huge log out of the way on the Miller Crossing Trail.

Shoo! Hear me? Skeedaddle! Don't make me git my
shovel!"
Actually, he was adjusting the fulcrum
upon which most of the weight of the stump was to rest when
the cut is complete. This was one of the largest trees the
Trail Crew has ever cleared. It took 2 hours and lots of
chin-rubbing to determine just what the best plan of attack
would be.
