John Muir Trail hiker Cindy from Oakland taking a break from
her trek to eat real food after suffering brutal blisters on the
trail. We took pity on her and invited her to have dinner with
us.

More John Muir Trail hikers from Scotland planned 14 days to
hike the entire thing, realized they did not leave enough time for
the pace they were keeping. We overheard them considering their
plight at the Vermilion Resort, and thought they needed a break...
we invited them for dinner Saturday night. They were very happy
indeed!

This is one approach I've never tried... but I love Roger's
shirt!
